Day 1 Arrival (Bandaranayke International Airport & Transfer to Dambulla)
Dambulla is a charming town in central Sri Lanka that is a treasure trove of cultural and natural wonders. It is located about 90 kilometers northeast of the best parts of Colombo. Dambulla is a cultural haven in Central Sri Lanka. Dambulla is rich in history, offers stunning landmarks and spectacular views, providing guests with a truly immersive experience. Whether you’re a history buff, hobbyist or explorer, this vibrant city has something for everyone. Its historical importance is reflected in the city’s beautiful cave temples, ancient ruins and intricate murals. If you visit Sri Lanka don’t miss this.
- Arrival at Bandaranayke International Airport with warm welcome and transfer to Dambulla.

Day 2 A day in Dambulla
- Wake up with a beautiful morning in Dambulla.

- Climb the ancient mountain “Sigiriya Rock Fortress” with a beautiful sunrise.
- Climb the “Pidurangala Mountain” to see the heavenly sunset in the evening. It will be a real adventure.

Day 3 Safari in Minneriya
Minneriya National Park – This national park is located in the North Central Province of Sri Lanka. It is 188 kilometers from Colombo. If there are two things that Sri Lanka and Dambulla are rich in, they are Buddhist iconography and natural beauty. Minneriya National Park can be reached after an hour’s travel from Dambulla. Minneriya is famous for its largest community of elephants. During June and September, you can see between 150 and 300 Asian elephants. Minneriya Lake and the surrounding forests create an ideal habitat for wildlife. Besides elephants, you can also see deer, leopards, and 130 species of birds.
- Wake up with a beautiful morning in Dambulla.

- After breakfast, go on a Jeep Safari to Minneriya National Park.
- Proceed to “Minneriya National Park.”

Day 4 Dambulla to Kithulgala
Kithulgala is a small town in the Sabaragamuwa Province of Sri Lanka, just a three-hour drive from the city of Colombo. Just a two-hour drive from Kandy and a three-hour drive from Nuwara Eliya, Kithulgala is also a convenient starting point for visitors to the Adam’s Peak trek, which is just a two-hour drive away. This quaint town is known as the premier white water rafting destination in Sri Lanka. The Kelani River flows beautifully through Kithulgala, flanked by lush rainforests on either side, making the area a paradise for nature lovers.
Home to lush rainforests, cascading waterfalls, sparkling streams, and quaint villages, Kithulgala is a perfect destination for a number of exciting adventure activities. These include Kitulgala White Water Rafting, Kithulgala Rainforest Exploration, Kithulgala Waterfalls, Kithulgala canyoning, and Kithulgala bird watching.
- Wake up early in the morning in Dambulla and head to Kithulgala.

Day 5 A day in Kithulgala
- Start the adventure day in Kithulgala with hot Ceylon tea.
- In the morning, experience “White Water Rafting” in the picturesque Kelani River.

Day 6 Kithulgala to Ella
Ella is in the middle of Sri Lanka. It is famous for its stunning natural beauty, which includes rolling hills, thick forests, and magnificent waterfalls. Ella City is 1,041 meters above sea level and is surrounded by tea gardens with beautiful and unique views.
- Wake up to a beautiful morning with a warm cup of tea.
- Say goodbye to Dambulla and proceed to Ella.

- Take an evening walk in beautiful “Ella City.”
- Have a few Lion beers in town.

Day 7 A day in Ella
- Wake up with a warm cup of Ceylon tea.
- Climb “Ella Mountain” to see the heavenly sunrise in the early morning.
- Return to the hotel and enjoy a delicious American breakfast.
- Experience the “Flying Ravana Zipline” – a thrilling adventure in Ella (Optional).

Day 8 Ravana’s Cave travel day
Ravana’s Cave is a popular spot in Ella. These caves are said to have been used by King Ravana to hide Princess Sita. The caves are man-made and are part of a tunnel network used by the king.

- Ella is great for walking and climbing. In the early morning, start trekking to “Little Adam’s Peak.”
- In the afternoon, visit the famous “Ravana’s Cave.”

Day 9 Ella to Yala (Tissamaharama)
Yala National Park is Sri Lanka’s most famous wildlife park, hosting a large number of leopards. Yala is a popular safari destination where elephants, crocodiles, buffalos, and monkeys are commonly sighted in its 1,268 square kilometers of forests, grasslands, and lakes.

Day 10 Yala to Mirissa
Mirissa is a coastal town on Sri Lanka’s south coast, known for its beautiful beaches and activities like whale watching, jet skiing, diving, and snorkeling.

Day 11 A day in Mirissa

Day 12 Mirissa to Bentota
Bentota is a quiet town on the west coast, known for its water sports and beautiful beaches. It’s a popular holiday destination for both Sri Lankans and foreigners.

Day 13 Bentota to Colombo
